Pretty Pastel Pink Christmas Table

Hello sweet friends !

I hope your Christmas Season is off to a wonderful start. Ours is fine, as I will not be shopping, since we are going to NYC and Miami soon, therefore, I promised I will bring my C'mas gifts from our trip.

I created a PINK Christmas table for a change, as I heard a friend say that it will be a 'challenge' to have a different holiday spread, besides the classic colors, or even the glitz kind. It prompted me to meet the challenge and create this table using pinks, lilacs, the antique, pink rose china from my belloved Mil, "Czech-Bohemian" wine stems, my lace tablecloth with a pink topper under it... etc.

Even Mr. Living loved it and for been PINK (not his favorite) it's a surprise !

Here goes, you can see for yourself.

I started spreading a pink topper and my lace tablecloth on top as canvas for my Pink table creation.
The centerpiece is arranged with white pinecones and gold tree ornaments.
The chargers are my 'Natchtmann-Dancing Stars,' Bavarian crystal; because I didn't want to put anything that will take away from the softness of the pastel colors.
The china is an antique heirloom from dear MIL and has pink roses and I layered it with my 'red-pinkish' hues in the transfer-ware dishes.

In this image you can see I paired my pink and purple "Czech-Bohemian" wine stems, with the pink and purple water glasses as well.

The dark-pink pretty Orchid plant I won at a 'plant exchange' a month ago. Since it's quite tall I couldn't use it as a centerpiece.

Isn't my pink orchid lovely?

The candles in the table lamp are pink, the evening light makes them look orangey.

I kept the balance with my dear 'gold reindeer' juxtaposed with the pink orchid.

My dear Mil's heirloom lovely china, with pink roses must be more then 70 years old and it was made in the USA.

The wine stem in pink is "Czech-Bohemian" paired with a pink water glass which I've had them for a very long time.

I placed in the table, as Christmas element my Italian porcelain toy horse I bought so many years ago and it's one of my favorite holiday pieces I own.

Thank you dear friends for your kind comments, you always make my day !

Thanking the lovely hostesses for having me at their great parties.

LOVE,
FABBY

  8. Dearest Fabby,
LOVE your pink pastel Christmas table setting! Very soft and yes, it should not take away too much from your lace tablecloth.
Such a treasure for having antique china pieces from a Mother-In-Law.
Enjoy your upcoming trip to the US. It looks like we're always crossing each other but not at the same time at the same place!
Who knows, one day we can meet...?!
Sending you warm hugs for a peaceful and lovely family Christmas season.

  14. This is beautiful and I love this softer side of Christmas. The deer on the table immediately captured my heart and I'm sure my family wishes I would stop buying them. It's very ironic that you mentioned your Czech-Bohemian wine stems. Just this morning I was searching the net for the name of the crystal I bought in Karlovy Vary years ago. In my search, I found lots of Czech-Bohemian crystal. You sure know how to style a table!

  21. Fabby you style a table so beautiful, I love using the pink and gold, such a softer side of Christmas. The rocking horse caught my eye, actually it was the teddy bear first, I love that you used the pink Christmas ornaments on each plate, so beautiful!!
